By S. SellersI used to dread bringing my laptop anywhere with me because I knew that I would have a sore back by the end of the day. I have been pleasantly surprised by this bag. Although I'm small-framed I have no problem carrying my 12" laptop and several books, notebooks, etc. with me. I no longer feel weighed down when I have my backpack on. The padding on the back of the bag is extensive and the shoulder straps are padded and include a chest buckle. The padding and the shoulder straps are the features that make this backpack so comfortable to wear. (The padded handle on top is also very helpful.)I bought the black/gray backpack. I discovered after purchasing it that the black/gray backpack features some red lining inside. For example, the two small side pockets, the padded laptop area, and some of the other pockets are lined in red. I think it's a nice feature.The first front (vertical) pockets on this bag lead to separate pockets. From the Amazon photos you cannot really tell that these are zippered pockets but they are.The second zippered section of the backpack has a lot of space and (velour lined) interior pockets. Lots of places for pens, post-its, a wallet, etc. There is even an attached plastic hook that you can hook your keys onto. The only downside is that I don't think there is a pocket that fits my small cell phone well---most of these pockets are deep, as they are designed for pens. (Then again, the first front pockets or two side pockets could hold a cell phone if you choose.)The main compartment has a very good amount of space. I can fit several small books in my backpack along with my laptop plug and a bottle of water and still have a bit of room. As I have a 12" laptop (and the compartment for the laptop is designed for 15" laptops) I have some extra room there.The backpack is also built well and is sturdy. I think it will last me a long time.The only thing I do wish this backpack featured was a velcro fabric top that would cover the padded laptop compartment just in case something spilled or rain found its way in.Overall, I am very pleased with this bag. I can't believe I stuck to cheap, standard backpacks for so long. I am kicking myself for not having bought something like this a few years ago when I first started grad school. It would have made school much more comfortable and easier if I had.

Good quality, lightweight, perfect size for someone who doesn't want a huge heavy backpack to carry around. Good compartments, everything you need. Still looks new and has been well used. Highly recommend.great backpack

By R. SantosThis is a sturdy backpack, good padding, the laptop compartment fits my m1530 just right; minus the bag it came with. It is good for someone looking for a small laptop backpack with just enough room for its accessories and other smaller electronics. It is light and a great deal for the price.Perfect size for 15 inch xps m1530, good padding.
