Product Description

Oakley combined all the best features from their individual backpacks for the Kitchen Sink Pack. This bag gets its name from the one item you might not be able to carry inside it. A compression molded top pocket protects valuables like sunglasses and small electronics and features a headphone port for media players. Throw your cell in the dedicated phone pocket and rest assured knowing your 17-inch computer is safe in the padded laptop sleeve. The interior organizer keeps things from getting chaotic inside the Kitchen Sink Pack. 5It's great, although BIG

By Eugene BogoradI'm a loyal Oakley fan. Once I got a word of this bag I just went and ordered it. The thing I didn't realize - there was no scale on their website and I paid no attention to the dimensions of this backpack - IT'S HUGE. I planned to carry this bag around with a laptop and a DSLR - but this is a bull-blown trekking bag. It easily holds everything I need for a weekly trip and still has place for my photo gear - I tend to take a lot of flashes with me.It's well-balanced, extremely well-made, creatively thought-through. The two things I find most useful - the three braces on the back and the bottom compartment with drainage ports.

5ADD PINK RIBBONS AND IT IS NOT "JUST FOR MEN."

By Wood WrenI have one of these packs. It is a man's pack. I am a girl; a smallish girl at that. I feel absolutely mortified walking around with a "men's" pack on my back. If the stares and snide remarks do not stop I plan to tie pink ribbons to the various clips, spray the thing down with Channel and possibly attach some sort of cute little furry stuffed animal to the top. But other than the gender problem, I do love this thing. The pack itself does not weigh all that much. There are scads of pockets and pouches, clips and hangers along with zippers and clippers; neat and useful stuff all.The pack is very well made. I tend to haul all kinds of stuff constantly, some if it quite heavy and I have hand no problem with tearing or stretching. The mobile phone pocket is great and is handy. It does indeed hold my laptop and protects it well. The padded storage compartment for the glasses dose indeed work...I have dumped this pack right on that compartment several times and my sunglasses have survived, which is good as they actually cost more than the pack. The inner compartments are well organized and hold a lot of "stuff."The pack straps are easily adjustable and the entire thing, fully loaded with all my useless stuff is extremely comfortable. The little clippie thingy for the lock is nice, although I never use it...but I like knowing I could if I wanted to...as it stands, I could never remember a lock combination and I am sure to loose any key I would lug about. The entire pack looks great; it is extremely attractive...in a "manly sort of way," grunt, grunt. You might consider this to be sort of pricy, but you got to remember that you get what you pay for.Good and useful pack...looks good, is extremely serviceable and the price is good here in Amazon Land.Perhaps if I let my hair grow longer and ceased wearing combat boots and covered a couple of my tattoos ....hmmm.

4Great bag...but not for everyone...

By Saiful IslamI have owned this bag for almost a month now...and here are my thoughts...- Very good construction and looks and feels very durable [I did not get to test much yet]- the bag might be too big for everyday usage to some people [i.e. someone looking for a laptop bag].- the bag might be a bit small to be used as primary luggage for longer trips.- very well thought out design and interior, although, I'd like a side mesh pouch for water bottles etc.- Awesome cool factor.- You do get complemented on your bag, which for some guys (including myself) could be weird.- If you are a dude dishing out $200 on this while your significant other carries only a $50 purse, things can be a bit awkward.- The metal hooks can be a annoying...takes a few tries getting used to it.- The padded back support is quite good.- I gave it 4 starts because in my opinion the price to value ratio is not good...but it's an Oakley product...price to value ratio is irrelevant in this matter.- Do your research or go check it out at the Oakley store to see if this meets your needs before you decide to make the purchase. With that being said, this will be my primary luggage for my planned two week long trip in Europe this summer. The interior design and space suites my needs quite well. The side pocket actually holds my Nikon D40 with the lens attached. Let's just hope it passes as a carry on at the airport.
